The gentle touch of your soft, supple hands was all Levi needed to feel comfort. Sure, it was, to say the least, a bit scary for him not to be able to see a single damn thing. He would never admit that, but it was true. Becoming blind was the absolute worst thing that had ever happened to him. He would never be able to see where he was going, what he was doing, or what was going on around him.

And worst of all, he would never be able to see you. He would never have that luxury again, and it pained him. Levi definitely knew he was just lucky enough to still have you after all these years, but he still longed to see your beautiful (S/C) face once again.

He loved everything about the way you looked, from your brilliant (E/C) eyes, to your gorgeous (H/L), (H/C) hair, to your radiant (S/C) skin. Yet, despite loving every part of you so much, all he could do was imagine you the way he remembered it.

“Levi?”

“Hm? What is it, brat?” You always loved how he called everyone, even you, a brat. Some might have thought of it as just part of his asshole personality, but you thought the contrary. You saw it as just one of the many things that made you love him more.

“You weren’t listening to a word I said, were you?” you asked. He took a moment to think his answer through.

“Honestly, no, I haven’t. I was spacing out…” he replied honestly.

“What were you thinking about?”

“Just about how I miss seeing that face of yours...”

“Oh…” You saw one of his rare sullen expressions cross his face. You hated seeing him this way. He was suffering from the plights of losing his vision, and it was obvious. A few minutes of silence had passed by before Levi had suddenly reached his hand up to your face and started tracing your features.

You were about to ask him what he was doing, but then you realized: he was trying to, in a sense, “see” you again. His digits lingered over every article, every aspect, every angle of your face. They traced over your eyes, moving down to your nose and eventually to your soft plump lips.
He connected every detail of your face to his loving memory of the way you looked. A smile went to your face as he did so, and he had felt your lips curve upward.

Oh, how he mourned the loss of seeing that smile whenever he did something to make you happy. This was his life now, though, and he had to live through it. However, a thought passed through his mind.

His hand traveled down to your chin and lifted your head up slightly, his face moving close to yours, your lips almost touching.

“I suppose I don’t need my vision, though, as long as I still have you. Your presence with me is good enough, even if I do really love seeing you.” His lips moved onto yours, enveloping you into a loving kiss as you smiled into it.

“You look like a piece of shit anyway.” He joked as he pulled away, one of his scarce but undeniably attractive smiles spreading to his lips.

“Levi!”

I guess the consequence of reading too many blind Levi x reader stories is getting the never-leaving desire to write one myself... ._.
